IMAP Interoperability

The nice thing about Open Standards is the possibility of different interpretations. My company switched from a Cyrus based setup to a Lotus Domino environment. Even in the latest edition of this product there seem to be many bugs in the IMAP server task. There are problems especially with the Apple mail client and the GNOME Evolution groupware client. Is there anybody out there connecting to a Domino server via IMAP using the Apple or Evolution mail client?
